I LOVE shaping surfboards and I'm kinda obsessed with this craft. Even though I am about to shape my 243th board I'm still considering myself as a novice but I hope to become a master one day... This blog is a virtual portfolio and a diary of my journey in the shaping world. Feel free to leave comments or contact me directly at valerie@meremadesurfboards.com.

Victory for my (only) team rider

Shaping for my hubby is very tough (as he is very demanding) but on the other hand, he gives Mère-Made surfboards great exposure (as he just rips). He just won the latest CSF contest of the season in Oceanside two weeks ago (master division). Very proud of my team rider!
Thanks to John Lindsley, director of the contest, for advertising Mère-Made surfboards on the mic during Vince's heats :)

Champion of the master division

6th place in the Open Men division, not bad for a 37 years old man
